Threads pattern
Simplicity 1664 features a lovely 3/4 sleeve fitted jacket with princess seams and Peter Pan collar.
The jacket is unlined. Perfect for this 90+degree heat wave. My favorite patterning feature were the two darts at the cuff of the sleeve. Prior to this pattern I had never seen a big 4 pattern utilizing dart placement like this (although a sleeve dart was on
this Burda dress).

The jacket was fun to construct and relatively quick aside from the mountain of hand sewing. The neckline binding needed to be stitched to the inside and the lower hem facing was herringbone stitched to hold it in place.
